We offer a comprehensive range of dental x-ray services, producing detailed images of the teeth, as well as the jaw, sinuses and face, using advanced x-ray technology. We also provide 3D evaluations to help guide orthodontic treatment.
An Orthopantomogram (OPG) is a panoramic dental x-ray that looks at the lower face, teeth, jaw and sinuses. This x-ray can reveal the number of teeth as well as their position and growth. It is a dental x-ray that is particularly useful to assess teeth that have not yet surfaced and to identify any potential problems with the jawbone and the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). An OPG aids in orthodontic treatment planning by evaluating wisdom teeth and providing a comprehensive overview of the teeth and the supporting bone structure.
A Lateral Cephalogram (Lat Ceph) is an x-ray of the side of the face that creates accurate measurements to determine the current and future relationship of the top and bottom jaw (maxilla and mandible). A Lat Ceph will help accurately assess the nature of your bite.
Cone Beam CT (CBCT) is a series of images used to create a multiplanar image of the jaw, teeth and facial joints. This dental imaging scan provides a multiplanar evaluation of dental anatomy and disease. A CBCT may be used for impacted teeth, pre-implant assessment, orthodontic assessment, and assessment for jaw and face surgery.
