Dr Allan Lee is a highly valued team member who is involved in critical decision making in all stages of patient care. He joined Imaging Associates with advanced skills and training in abdominal and pelvic imaging, his particular field of expertise.
Allan graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2005 with a Bachelor of Medicine and a combined degree of Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Science. He undertook his internship and residency training at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne in 2008 and the following year he began training as a Radiology Registrar at the Northern Hospital. He then completed the remainder of his radiology training at Southern Health, where he also completed an MRI Fellowship.
He is a highly valued team member who loves working and collaborating with other Radiologists and medical imaging staff, as well as being widely published in 13 papers.
Before joining Imaging Associates in 2015, Allan’s previous positions included a role as Principal Registrar, Southern Health (2013-2014). In 2014, Allan accepted a twelve-month Fellowship in Cross Sectional Imaging at St Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, which he completed in 2015. He returned to join Imaging Associates in the same year.
Allan is currently Imaging Associate’s lead in Body Imaging Radiology (Abdominal and Oncological), where his aim is always to provide an accurate diagnosis to help clinicians solve diagnostic dilemmas. He is involved in critical decision making from an emergency setting to routine follow up and from solving a diagnostic dilemma to Oncology Imaging, where a diagnosis made on imaging will determine the next course of action for the patient.
He is a highly valued team member who loves working and collaborating with other Radiologists and medical imaging staff, as well as being widely published in 13 papers. Allan also has a strong commitment to ongoing clinical education and is currently the Director of Training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne.
