Dr Vivek Ramachandran is the Director of Interventional Radiology and Deputy Director of Radiology at Box Hill Hospital. He particularly enjoys managing patients collaboratively with clinicians to reach positive outcomes.
Vivek completed his medical degree and radiology training in India. He passed his radiology fellowship exams in 2006 and then undertook and passed the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) examination in 2015.
He is known for his gentle, caring and courteous manner toward patients, other clinicians and colleagues.
In 2004, with extensive working experience as a radiologist, Vivek began working in Wagga Wagga as an Interventional Radiology which is his particular area of expertise. He joined Imaging Associates in 2008. Having worked with Imaging Associates since its inception, he has been an important part of its growth and evolution since then.
While initially attracted to the field of radiology by the rapid advances in technology that are so much an aspect of the discipline, over the course of his career, Vivek has been witness to the increasing reliance of clinicians on radiological investigations to make accurate diagnosis’. He is known for his gentle, caring and courteous manner toward patients, other clinicians and colleagues.
